Amy started playing disc golf when her dad passed away about 10 years ago. She played one year of ams but not having much of a division here in southern Oregon moved up to open the next year and have been trying her best ever since.
The History of Amy Lewis in Disc Golf
"The first course I ever played is called Riverfront Park in Roseburg Oregon, my first putter ever was the gateway Warlock! With Whistlers bend close by I was able to move up the skill ladder rather quickly, in 2015 I quit my pizza delivery job and became a disc golfer. With the support of my community and family, I have continued to live this dream. I since then have met my handsome boyfriend and moved to the town of Myrtle Creek.
My home course now is Millsite Park ran by the 541 Disc Head Club. I am forever grateful to live in the Umpqua Valley! I’m looking forward to adding more to my story now that my future is bright with the help of AGL and Gateway Discs!!"
