October 2024 marked a major milestone for Gateway Disc Sports: 30 years in disc golf manufacturing and course development. From our very first molds in the 1990s to becoming a name recognized across courses worldwide, it’s been an incredible journey!

Gateway was founded in 1994 with a simple mission: grow the game and help others grow with it. Over three decades, that mission has grown into one of the most well-loved and authentic disc golf brands in the sport.

• Iconic Discs — The Wizard putter, introduced in 2002, became one of the most popular discs in history, still trusted by players of all skill levels.
• Plastics Innovation — Gateway pioneered unique blends like NXT, Evolution, and Hemp blends, pushing what disc technology could do.
• Course Design Legacy — Founder David McCormack has designed over 150 disc golf courses nationwide, including some of the most played and most loved in the country.
• Supporting Other Brands — Beyond our own lineup, Gateway manufactures discs for a growing family of independent companies, helping them bring their vision to life and expanding opportunities for players across the sport.
