This is a thinner, and FAST, approach style putter that works really well for folks who don’t like those deep dish style of putters. The Douglas Fir is beadless and is slightly understandable to neutral, depending on arm speed. Most players with faster arms, can get this to flip to flat on a hyzer release; whereas with arms that are not quite as fast - this disc will be a very very straight flyer. The Douglas Fir is an excellent disc to use for a driving,or approach putter (especially in our premium plastic), while it can also be used as a putting putter (in our base plastic). Surprisingly, this disc works out to be a really awesome disc as a roller, as well!

The new PREMIUM & FLEXIBLE blend that is made from a recycled high flex TPU material and we figured out how to blend this when AGL visited Gateway to perfect the blend, in house. The Amphibian (formerly the Proto 103) is a smooth control driver featuring a thicker flight plate and an etched rim; these qualities allow this disc to float on water even up to 175 grams. With a flight plate that is close to maximum thickness, the disc has less gyroscopic progression than other molds making it drop out of the air instead of fading which makes it great for fairway drives. The AGL Discs Ponderosa is an understable GLIDEY putter of a disc golf disc. The Ponderosa is perfect for beginners and veterans alike, as it really does take a lot of the work out of putting. The flight numbers which ring in at 3/4/-2/0 mean that this disc pops up and flies straight and long for slower arms, and it provides long arcing turn over shots for those with a bit more power. The glide on this disc is CRAZY and means that the ponderosa is also a great circle 2 putter. This disc is amazingly controllable but when given enough power can flip to flat on a hyzer release. With the flight numbers of 5/4/-1 / 2, this disc can allow the player to mold all types of shots. Some of the Alpine models may actually have some dome to them, and therefore catch some more glide; but the Woodland models typically come out flatter and more true to the numbers. This is an excellent midrange that truly allows for players to have all the shots necessary with an AGL midrange!
